Photographic Competition - now closed

If you enjoyed a holiday with Excellence Afloat at Valley Cruises any time during 2007, post or EMAIL your favourite holiday photos (captions welcome) to us and we will put them on our web site to be voted for.
Anyone viewing our web site can vote for their preferred picture by EMAILING US. Your details will then be entered into a random draw.
On December 31st 2007 the owner of the most voted for photograph and a randomly selected voter both won a short break aboard Thames Valley. See newsflash above.

  Terms and Conditions
1. By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules.
2. The Competition is organised by Excellence Afloat at Valley Cruises, Springwood Haven, Mancetter Road, Nuneaton, Warwickshire. CV10 0RZ
3. In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, results and all other matters relating to the Competition, the decision of Excellence Afloat at Valley Cruises shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
4. To qualify to enter the Competition you must be resident in the United Kingdom and over the age of eighteen.
5. Employees of Excellence Afloat at Valley Cruises or any associated companies, agents or members of their families or households, are not eligible to enter the Competition.
6. Persons submitting a vote for their favourite photograph may only enter one vote. Multiple entries will result in an entrant being disqualified. Entrants may not vote for their own photograph.
7. Closing date is 31st December 2007 with the winners being announced on the web site on 1st January 2008.
8. There are no additional costs or charges involved in entering the competition other than the normal cost of postage or email.
9. Hard copies of photographs cannot be returned.
10. Short break is Monday 2.30pm to Friday 8am. Date to be agreed between the prize winners and Excellence Afloat at Valley Cruises. Accommodation is for up to six persons and subject to all the usual terms and conditions of a narrow boat holiday with Excellence Afloat at Valley Cruises. All usual costs included except £20 charge for each pet. An insurance deposit of £100 per person will be required which will be fully refunded upon the timely return of the boat in a good state of repair and in a clean and tidy condition,
11. Prize winners will be notified in writing within 28 days of the closing date. In the event of a tie, the company owners will receive the casting vote. In all matters, the decision of the owners of Excellence Afloat at Valley Cruises shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
12. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable or failure to claim the prize within 28 days of notification will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. The names of the winners are available upon the provision of a stamped, self addressed envelope.
13. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
14. Excellence Afloat at Valley Cruises reserves the right to use the names and photographs of Competition entrants in any publicity.
15. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely by Excellence Afloat at Valley Cruises and will not be disclosed to a third party.
