DAMAGE WAIVER
SCHEME
For a single, non refundable payment of £45 you will be
protected from any liability for damage/loss or accident
to our boat or its inventory during your holiday. This
will be shown on your booking confirmation and is
payable along with the balance of hire. Single sex
parties are welcome with permission and are charged a
£100 per head deposit instead of the damage waiver. This
is fully refundable upon the timely return of the boat
in a clean, tidy and undamaged condition.”

PROTECTION FOR CANCELLATION AND CURTAILMENT
If you have to cancel or curtail your holiday solely
due to one the Qualifying Reasons set out below you
will be covered for:
*loss of your Booking Deposit paid
*the Balance of Hire as stated on your Booking
Confirmation (subject to the Booking Conditions)
*reimbursement of the appropriate proportion of the hire
terms if you have to cut short your holiday
Qualifying reasons
(must apply to a member of your party)
Illness, pregnancy (subject to medical evidence of
unfitness to travel), or death.
Redundancy (provided employment has been on a continuous
full time basis with the same employer for at least 24
months)
Jury service
Illness or death of a close relative. A close relative
is defined as one of the following:- Spouse, son or
daughter (in law), parent (in law), grandparent, sister
or brother, fiancee(e).
Inability to reach your holiday destination due to snow
or flood or as the result of being involved in an
accident on route.
Curtailment cover extends to holidays which have to be
cut short for any of the qualifying reasons above. In
this case you will be reimbursed for the appropriate
proportion of the holiday charge. This protection only
applies if the boat is vacated by all members of your
holiday party. Where your holiday is curtailed for
medical reasons affecting any member of your holiday
party you will need to produce a certificate from a
local doctor confirming the necessity of returning home.
NB. Cancellation and curtailment in all cases must mean
cancellation of the booking for the period concerned; it
cannot involve partial refunds to individual members
making up the holiday party.
The following charges will apply if you change or cancel
your holiday for a non-qualifying reason. |
